Rio Video Gallery doesn't support locally hosted videos, but only clips uploaded and hosted on video sharing sites like YouTube, Vimeo, and DailyMotion.
The site's webmaster only needs to configure the plugin's display settings, create video galleries, and then add the video entries using a post-like interface.
To add videos, there's a special metabox on the video adding/editing interface which developers can use to automatically pull in videos from the aforementioned services using only the video's ID from that site.
After adding all the videos, the admin can then publish his video gallery on the site using a series of specially crafted shortcodes. There are shortcodes for showing the entire video gallery database, videos only from YouTube, videos only from Vimeo, videos only from DailyMotion, and even individual shortcodes for showing each video alone.
There's also a Rio Video Gallery sidebar widget, which is basically a simple interface for adding one of the shortcodes to the site's sidebar sections.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
